Notably, it provides a comprehensive picture of a country's trade performance by highlighting the value generated through international transactions. It specifically excludes employee compensation and investment income, which allows for a clearer assessment of trade dynamics, thereby offering valuable insights into economic growth, competitiveness, and potential vulnerabilities within the global marketplace.
