Logistics performance index: Ease of arranging competitively priced shipments (1=low to 5=high)

The Logistics Performance Index (LPI) measures the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics services by gathering insights from logistics professionals across various countries. In its latest survey, conducted between September and November 2022, participants evaluated the simplicity of orchestrating competitively priced shipments to various markets, using a scale from 1 (very difficult) to 5 (very easy). This assessment encompasses eight key countries identified through strategic selection—considering both export and import markets, as well as regional connections for landlocked nations. With over 4,000 evaluations provided by 652 experts from 115 countries, the LPI offers a comprehensive overview of logistics capabilities, highlighting areas for improvement and facilitating global trade discussions.
