This indicator gauges the effectiveness of customs clearance processes as perceived by logistics professionals globally. Derived from the Logistics Performance Index survey, conducted by the World Bank in collaboration with various stakeholders, it reflects an aggregate assessment of key dimensions such as speed, simplicity, and predictability in customs operations. With a robust participation of 652 logistics experts across 115 countries, the 2023 survey captured insights from 4,090 evaluations, focusing on the most significant trading partners of respondents' countries.
