Logistics performance index: Quality of trade and transport-related infrastructure (1=low to 5=high)

The Logistics Performance Index combines insights from logistics professionals participating in a comprehensive survey conducted by the World Bank, alongside academic and industry experts. This survey assesses the effectiveness of trade and transport-related infrastructure—such as ports, railroads, roads, and information technology—vital for international logistics. Respondents from 115 countries rated eight key nations based on their significance in the respondents' import and export activities, yielding 4,090 evaluations conducted between September and November 2022. The averaged scores reflect not only the physical condition of infrastructure but also its ability to facilitate efficient trade flows, providing a critical benchmark for policy-makers and businesses striving for improvement in logistics capabilities.
