This indicator measures the financial contributions from members of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) to the Slovak Republic, reflecting the net official development assistance (ODA) received. It captures the essence of economic cooperation through the net disbursement of grants and loans, subtracting loan repayments from the total disbursed amounts. ODA encompasses concessional loans—defined by a minimum grant element of 25%—and grants intended to
bolster socio-economic development. As an essential tool for understanding international aid dynamics, this measure also highlights Slovakia's engagement with DAC members, illustrating the broader landscape of development assistance and cooperation within Central and Eastern Europe since the dissolution of Part II of the DAC list in 2005. Data are presented in current U.S. dollars, emphasizing their contemporary relevance.
